Q. Can I order an inspection anywhere in the US?

No. We are a local company serving Palm Beach and Broward counties in Florida.

Q. What is a Pre-Purchase Inspection and what is included in my vehicle's inspection?

Our Pre-Purchase Inspection (excluding basic inspection) is a visual inspection and condition report of the vehicle. We will thoroughly inspect the condition of the exterior, as well as check for evidence of prior collision damage or paintwork, and evidence of rust on the undercarriage or indicators of frame damage.

Q. How does the process work and what is the timeline for the inspection being requested?

It's a simple four-step process. First, you submit a request for inspection using our online form. Second, you speak with our agent to confirm details and process the payment. Third, the inspector will go to the vehicle location and perform the inspection. Fourth, you will receive a digital copy of the inspection report.

Q. When and how do I pay for this inspection service?

Payment is to be made upon confirming with our rep that the vehicle is in our coverage area. You can pay online via our secure payment processing page via credit card, paypal, or venmo depending on your preference.

Q. How long until I receive my inspection report and how will I be able to view the report ?

We make every effort to get the vehicle inspected within 24 - 48 hours of your request. This is dependent on many factors out of our control such as vehicle an d seller availability, and weather FAQ SECTION FINAL FOR AUTO PRAISE WEBSITE.docx conditions. Once the inspection is completed the report will be finalized and reviewed the same day. You will have the inspection report by the following business day if not sooner.

Q. Is there a cancelation policy?

Cancellations must be made prior to our inspector traveling to the vehicle location. Due to the time and commitment our staff puts into coordinating and performing each inspection we must adhere to a strict policy. If you cancel the inspection prior to our scheduling the inspection we will issue a full refund. If the inspection is cancelled after the inspection is scheduled, but the technician has not traveled to the location, then we will offer a 50% refund. Once the technician has started travel to the inspection location we can no longer offer a refund as we have already started the process, and could have performed other inspections in that time slot that was allocated for your inspection. If the vehicle has sold, or we are unable to fulfill our oblig ation of inspecting the vehicle, or seller prohibits us from performing the inspection, then you will receive a full refund.

Q. Are the inspectors that will be looking at the vehicle certified mechanics?

Yes. Our inspectors are ASE-certified mechanics. Most inspections done in the Palm Beach and Broward areas are performed by an ASE Master-certified mechanic, who also holds I-Car Platinum certification and is a licensed appraiser/adjuster.

Q. Do I need to also be present at the inspection with the vehicle?

No . H ere at Auto Praise, we will schedule and perform the inspection with the seller at their location. You will then be provided with a comprehensive report detailing the inspection results.

Q. What i f I need a further explanation of the details found in my report? Can I contact Auto Praise directly for more information?

Our digital reports are detailed and comprehensive. We do offer an add on service which includes a phone follow up to review the d etails of the report and answer any questions you may have. The fee for this service is $20 per inspection.

Q. What kind of vehicles are eligible for inspection? Classics, Commercial, Exotic...

We inspect all vehicles: new vehicles, used vehicles, classics, exotics, commercial vehicles, and equipment.

Q. Do you offer an assessment of the vehicle’s value in the inspection report?

We offer an add-on service of a basic market valuation. This report gives you an idea of the current price comparable vehicles are being sold for. This is not the same as our Certified Fair Market Value Report, which is a full certified appraisal.

Q. Do the vehicle s need to be locat ed at or taken to a shop for the ins pection to be performed?

No. We can inspect the vehicles at any location, however they need to be in a location that they are accessible and able to be driven and inspected. Should you want to have the vehicle inspected on a lift, you will need to mak e arrangements prior to the inspection to have the vehicle at a facility that can lift the vehicle, and that will be available and willing to do so.

Q. What is included in Auto Praise's standard inspection service?

Our standard inspection service cov ers a thorough assessment of the vehicle, including mechanical components and systems, electrical components and systems, exterior condition, interior condition, and checking for prior collision damage or body repairs. We inspect for safety, mechanical int egrity, and overall condition to provide you with a comprehensive overview.
